Oct 15, 2019

(Hardinsburg, Kentucky - October 15, 2019)–  Crews are currently on-site at GreenPoint AG’s Hardinsburg, Kentucky, location as they continue the clean-up effort following a fire at the operation’s fertilizer storage facility Monday morning.

“No hazardous materials were released into the environment,” says GreenPoint AG’s Environmental, Health and Safety Manager, Tim Bogy. “Everything is contained to the concrete pad of the building.”

GreenPoint AG is working closely with state and federal officials to ensure clean-up from the suspected electrical fire is conducted to the highest safety standards. The storage facility housed both fertilizer and crop protection products.
