Key Leadership Positions Announced
GreenPoint Ag continues its forward momentum with the announcement of several key leadership and management positions. 
 
Joey Caldwell has been named the Vice President of Retail. Caldwell spent more than 20 years as the General Manager of Tipton Farmers Cooperative in Covington, TN, before becoming a member of the GreenPoint Ag family in 2019 when the two companies consolidated. In his new role, Caldwell will oversee the operations of 82 retail locations across GreenPoint Ag’s 10-state footprint.
 
Under Caldwell’s leadership, GreenPoint Ag will operate four retail regions led by
  • Greg Sadler – Southwest Region 
  • Gene Hurt – South Central Region
  • Chris Casey – Southeast Region
  • Emmett Gadberry – Mid-South Region 
Mark McDonald will be joining the company as the Vice President of Wholesale. McDonald will direct the day-to-day operations of GreenPoint Ag’s 22 wholesale locations. The former Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Intrepid, McDonald is a proven leader with more than 30 years of agricultural experience.
 
Under the leadership of McDonald, GreenPoint Ag’s wholesale business will be led by
  • Bryan Johnson – Director of Seed
  • Mackie Sides – Director of Crop Protection Products
  • Chris Carter – Director of Crop Nutrients
  • Dawn Matlock – Director of Professional Products
Terry Kelley will be joining GreenPoint Ag as the Vice President of Member Services. With 36 years within the Tennessee Farmers Cooperative system, Kelley will be a fundamental asset to the GreenPoint Ag wholesale business. 

Rounding out the leadership team, Willis DeKruif is the Chief Financial Officer, Amy Winstead has been named the Director of Business Innovation and Technology, Sara Williams has been named the Director of Marketing and Communications and Kent McPherson and Tim Bogy will serve as the interim leaders of Human Resources and Safety, respectively, until the positions are filled externally.

He highlights rising input costs, labor shortages, trade instability, and delays in federal farm policy—all of which are putting pressure on growers across Arkansas and the southern U.S. The piece urges lawmakers to advance economic assistance, strengthen trade, modernize labor policy, and finalize a strong Farm Bill to give farmers the stability they need.

The January 7-9 event, themed “Rooted in Resilience,” brought together over 200 growers for three days of education, collaboration, and insight from leading industry experts.
