Aug 01, 2019

Tipton Farmers Cooperative and GreenPoint AG, LLC have successfully consolidated their operations. The consolidation harnesses the size, scale, and strength of GreenPoint AG’s large southern retail ag business, while leveraging the strong reputation and service model that Tipton Farmers Cooperative has been building since its establishment. Tipton was originally chartered as the Tipton County Supply Association in 1935 under the Cooperative Marketing Act of 1923 by the State of Tennessee.

“We officially welcome Tipton Farmers Cooperative as we come together as the GreenPoint AG family,” says Tim Witcher, President/CEO of GreenPoint AG. “The rich legacy, expertise, and professionalism that Tipton Farmers Cooperative brings is a perfect fit with the culture that comprises GreenPoint AG. The joining of our two businesses advances our strategy for growth, and we’re excited for our future.”

Growers and customers can continue to expect excellent service through the retail agronomy center, fuel depot, cotton gin, Napa® parts store, and car care center in Covington, TN, and retail agronomy center in Halls, TN.

GreenPoint AG, based in Memphis, operates 54 agronomy locations across Arkansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Texas, and now Tennessee.
